More New Technology!
move on to Canada!
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is dramatically expanding its ability to test DNA samples with the purchase of three robotic analyzers, replacing a time-consuming process that today is performed mostly by hand.
The robots can test samples far faster than humans. When the state of Florida, for instance, bought its first robotic analyzers in 1986, a technician could hand-test about 80 samples in a week. The robots, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, could test more than 180 samples a day.
The Florida department was one of the first crime labs in the nation to get the robots.

Traces of tissue lead to profile
The man accused of killing a 90-year-old woman was visiting someone else in her Hopkins apartment building the day of the slaying and had recently been released from prison after serving time for aggravated robbery.
another case Touch DNA
Sharrons case
Someone visiting, maybe someone was visiting someone that Easter weekend March 1975! In Point St. Charles
It's very simple, try to remember
Did a relative or friend borrow your vehicle? Car Van truck?
Bring a vehicle back to you dirty...or maybe a fresh wash? Inside and out?
There was a car seat found at the crime scene...the kind that truckers use.

Touch DNA
A Blogger posted this in the Guest book...
What I don’t understand is this; They (the police) were supposed to have checked any dna that was left, and to this there was no match. After all these years this one monster who committed this crime has committed no other crimes? Nothing to compare his dna to? I find that hard to believe. That horrific of a crime to be just one time. Now, with this new Touch DNA are they going to test again with this new technology? Read on Touch DNA www.wusa9.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=73827&catid=158
Here’s hoping one day the Prior family will get justice.
Crime scene DNA is typically recovered from blood or semen stains. This so-called "touch DNA" is left behind when people touch things, because they naturally shed skin cells that contain the genetic material. To find such DNA, "you have to have a good idea of where someone has been touched, or in this case, where you think the suspect would have touched. That somebody pulling down her pants would have touched the waistband and the sides.

Mothers of Murdered Children

Mother's Day is bittersweet for mothers of murder victims. Some say they approach the holiday with dread. Some find a quiet comfort in this time set aside for a role they cherish. Weeks leading up to the day are tougher than the rest of the year. The second Sunday in May is never the same once a son or daughter is killed.Women whose children are murdered suffer a lifelong pain — a testament to how precious motherhood truly is.
If we had a flower for each time we think of our Mom, We will walk in our garden forever.

Easter

Although Easter weekend falls on a different date this year 2008, (in 1975 it was the 29th of March) it is still
strong in our memories and we are still pushing foward.

A BUDDING FLOWER FROM THE FAMILY TREE,
IS NO LONGER WITH US-----FOR US TO SEE.
WE LOOK AT THE PHOTO'S OF TIME GONE BY,
WE SMILE ON THE OUTSIDE
BUT INSIDE WE CRY.

More than three decades later, dedicated detectives say they've finally found the answers . They NEVER gave up! The story generated great coverage, including on CityNews.ca, and cops say that led to new tips and helped them decide who to re-interview.

"Lifers’ group inc” ??????
Their agenda is not only to get a “get out of jail free card”, but they support a concept called “restorative justice”, which they say “brings offenders and their victims together to make them whole.” Oh, how touching! That is such a compassionate intellectual idea! Barf, I doubt any of the victims families want to hold hands with these murderers and dance around a tree and sing “Kumbaya.”

March

In 1975 there were no cars, trucks, no buildings..lots of trees and field...alone, deserted, cold, hurt, praying
There are times when the memory is blank-too many things in the head, too many names-wanting to forget!
the whole year-every single day-can't forget-won't forget- someone knows something.
march-is supposed to be a wonderful month-Ha! just not so. I hate march, I hate spring,I hate Easter. It's a lonely month.
