Barry Vincent Manion, appearing in a Haileybury, Ont., court, received a life sentence for second-degree murder with no possibility of parole for 10 years in Katherine May Wilson's 1970 disappearance in Kirkland Lake.

Her body has never been found.

The 61-year-old was arrested in January and initially charged with first-degree murder, abduction and forcible confinement.

Manion, who most recently lived in London, resided in Kirkland Lake when Katherine went missing on Oct. 10, 1970. He is a distant cousin of the missing girl, her family has said.

The girl had been picking up groceries for her mother, Aline Wilson, on the afternoon she went missing on the town's outskirts. Katherine called home just before 5 p.m. to ask whether she could buy a can of pop or a bag of chips with the leftover change.
Her mother agreed, and Katherine said she was going to walk home. Katherine's two sisters walked out to meet her halfway, but the girl never showed up.
An exhaustive police search that included dogs, helicopters and boats lasted for several weeks.

"Quote" “I guess (it’s) what I call tunnel vision,” said retired Metro official Sherman Nickens. “I had an informant tell me that a black Muslim could be involved in this. I do remember going to the mosque on Jefferson Street"

“Case files were kept by individual detectives except what was turned in to Central Records. So there was actually no central database for us to go to,” he said. “We could not bring up cases the way that they can now.”

Barrett's DNA linked him to Des Prez, but it took 32 years to make the connection!!! hummmm

Wednesday Marks 34 Years Since Trimble Disappearance

After 34 years police have finally charged someone with Marcia Trimble's death.
Marcia's Mothers words,

"Every year, for 34 years now, Virginia takes time to observe a horrible anniversary, but Wednesday, "I'm not burdened down with anything. I feel free."

Virginia's daughter, Marcia, disappeared in Green Hills on February 25, 1975. The 9-year-old's body was found a month later. For years, the murder went unsolved, but on the 34th anniversary there was finally a suspect, Jerome Barrett. "I've always wanted to know who killed her? When she died and how she died?" This is the first time Virginia's talked since Barrett was charged with her daughter's murder, and she hopes for answers when he goes to trial this July.

And now, about Sharron. You and I saw a very great number of people come in to the chapel yesterday to pay their respects. But even if the casket were open, we would not have seen her. She is not here. This is Sharron's earthly body. Do you remember that on the first Easter morning, the three women came to Jesus' grave looking for their Lord?
They were met by the angel, who said to them: " He is not here; he is risen.........he is going before you into Galilee" (Mark 16:6).

She is not here; she is risen. Sharron has gone before us into heaven; and as Jesus said of little children " Always beholds the face of the Father which is in Heaven."

This does not happen "naturally"; mankind is mortal---we die. It happens only because God's own Son--who also died at the hands of violent men----was able to conquer death for us---for you, for me, and for Sharron.

Death may indeed be our fate----Whether it come at 16 or 64---but God is our destiny.

Let us pray together: O God, our merciful heavenly Father, our prayer is brief, but our need is great. We are ashamed of our lack of faith in your compassion and goodness. Please forgive us.We thank you for Sharron's life among us, brief though it was; for the beauty and strength of her character, and gentleness of her spirit. And now grant us your peace, which passes understanding; through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen

Jessica Neilson Is Still Missing

It's been almost l month since a young woman vanished from Lasalle. Jessica Neilson IS MISSING ..She was last seen December 8th 2008. Jessica was driving an automatic, white, 4 door ,1994 Acura Integra the model with the circular lights in the front. the licence plate number 284 WNF.
If anyone sees a car that has been abandoned with this licence plate please dont hesitate to call the police.


Jessica's family is appealing to the public to help find her. Relatives put up poster, friends have been on the radio stations. There is also a facebook site. Donald and Robena Nielson last saw their 25-year-old daughter on December the 8th. Jessica said she was going out with co-workers and then disappeared. A revived Boston police cold case unit cracked the case, and yesterday Sultan Omar Chezulu, 60, formerly known as Robert Scott, was arrested in Atlanta for the murder of Yolanda Hernandez, who was 18 when she was killed. Genetic material from the old evidence that predated police DNA tests led to Chezulu, a career criminal.

Police in Toronto, Canada have set up a 'cold case' website in the hope that new information could help crack unsolved murder cases.

"The traditional means of communication has sometimes been inadequate," Toronto Police Chief William Blair told the city's Globe and Mail newspaper.
"A very significant portion of our population, in particular young people in our city, get most of their information on the web," he added.
The cold-case website contains details of murders that date back decades.

Information from the investigations – including detectives' reports, photos and maps – are all on the site.
One unsolved murder is the case of Christine Prince a nanny from Wales, working in Canada.

She was murdered in June 1982 on her way home from a night out with friends. The murderer's identity is still unknown.

According to the cold-case website: "Murder investigations are made up of many pieces of information. Perhaps your piece of the puzzle is what is needed to complete the picture."

Within the last few years we have come across some pretty special people. Friends who have helped us with this Web site,People who have just emailed us privatly to say that they remember Sharron. We have had nice mesaqges and not so nice. We have had strangers who have written in Sharrons GuestBook just letting us know that they care.
We have known a special woman who emailed our family wanting to place a plaque on the wall of the "Garden Of Hope" which is in Vancouver.
This special lady emailed our family back and forth to ask what we wanted on the Plaque we told her and she went there to B.C and got the plaque engraved, the plaque will be placed on the Garden of Tears Memorial Wall which is located in the Garden of Tears Lillie's Garden .

May 18, 1962:
On May 18, 1962, around 8:00 p.m., Alex Wiwcharuk told her roommates she was going for a walk. She was seen at several locations: Mead's drugstore, near her home, between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m. and later, by a group of boys fishing on the riverbank between 9:00 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. But, Alex Wiwcharuk didn't show up for her shift at the hospital that night, nor did she come home.

Her body was found may 31st Alexandra was murdered....

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is dramatically expanding its ability to test DNA samples with the purchase of three robotic analyzers, replacing a time-consuming process that today is performed mostly by hand.

The robots can test samples far faster than humans. When the state of Florida, for instance, bought its first robotic analyzers in 1986, a technician could hand-test about 80 samples in a week. The robots, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, could test more than 180 samples a day.

The Florida department was one of the first crime labs in the nation to get the robots.

This so-called "touch DNA" is left behind when people touch things, because they naturally shed skin cells that contain the genetic material. To find such DNA, "you have to have a good idea of where someone has been touched, or in this case, where you think the suspect would have touched. That somebody pulling down her pants would have touched the waistband and the sides.

DNA tests flush out old crimes

A RAPIST, a carjacker and a serial burglar are among hundreds of criminals facing more time in prison after NSW Police secured 300 cold-case convictions in a year through DNA testing.
Police Minister David Campbell said more than 2400 inmates were DNA tested in 2006-07, allowing investigators to compare those samples with evidence collected at the scenes of unsolved crimes.
He said more than 10,000 samples had been collected in the testing regime, which began in 2001 and was securing good results for victims of crime and their families.
"These inmates will be spending more time in jail than they thought," Mr Campbell said. "This program is making criminals pay, and providing justice for victims."
The minister said the database to which criminals' DNA was compared contained samples from crime scenes dating back to the early 1990s. The DNA testing had led to 300 new convictions and more would follow, he said.
Among the inmates convicted of previously unsolved crimes are:
■ A 36-year-old who was serving four months for assault received another eight years after his DNA identified him as the man who abducted and sexually assaulted a 40-year-old woman in a Lewisham park in 1997.
■ A 34-year-old serving three years for armed robbery received another seven years after his DNA matched samples left after a man was forced from his car, stabbed and robbed by a carjacker in inner Sydney in 2003.
■ A 36-year-old on six months periodic detention for breaking and entering had his DNA tested in 2006 after police set up a strike force to investigate 58 burglaries in Sydney between 2003 and 2006. His sample came up positive at all 58 crime scenes.
Mr Campbell said the cold-case convictions should remind "criminals that they can't relax … the NSW Police Force will track you down, and you will be caught".

Mr. Boisvenu won a major victory yesterday when the Quebec government tabled a bill that requires employers to grant a leave of absence of up to two years to employees whose child or spouse is slain. Employees or their children who suffer serious bodily injury as a result of a crime will also have the right to a two-year leave of absence.

Fort Myers man was arrested today in connection with a murder that occurred in 2004.Derrick Hamilton, 27, of 11 Castlebar Circle, was charged with felony murder of James Foote, who was 53 at the time of his death. Foote was found shot to death in a parking lot in front of 1958 Grove Street in Fort Myers. The murder appeared to be drug related.Fort Myers police were able to make the arrest because of a tip they received from inmates in Florida prison. Cold case playing cards are distributed to those inmates in hopes that they can provide information.

We just have to say that of course there were no buildings around no cars ,Just bush, trees forest...and then the Apairy. If you look at the bottom of the photo and go about 75 ft. in....that is where her body was found... But a gate with lock had to be opened, the gate would have been situated not too far from the road.

We were going through some photos recently and came across this photo of Sharron's Dog "Sandy".Sharron posed her at the organ....and laughed so hard.

Sandy was our family dog..but Sharron took her and cared for her the most! Sharron and her girlfriends would dress Sandy up in baby clothes and take her for walks.... Sandy loved it!

Our family had a private email sent to Sharron's site. It was a gentleman who is a manager of a Website www.debbiekey.org His friend was murdered Deborah Leigh Key. This gentleman Got me thinking how hard it is to say "I'm sorry about the loss of your sister.... daughter....or even if it is right to say anything at all.... I never want Sharron to be forgotton..Seems the years go by and she is forgotten about a little more each year. Her friends still get together I'm sure..and even maybe remember her...these memories are special memories. But memories that I would love to hear. Maybe Sharron's friends do not know how to start a conversation with her Family..afraid of what we will think! Afraid of saying something that would offend us...
I think some days..I would like to hear special moments that Sharron's friends had. Special silly things that they did together...Places that they hung out..country places....swimming holes.
I know that Sharron had many special friends but it's a shame that we do not hear from them.

Search continues for missing girl

The search for a missing 9-year-old girl in Trois Rivieres resumed in full force this morning.
Cedrika Provencher went missing Tuesday evening. Yesterday, searchers found her bicycle behind a dumpster in the back of an apartment building more than a kilometre from where she was last seen.
Cedrika was last seen about 8 p.m. by two of her neighbours. Before she disappeared, she had been looking for a small black dog, police said.
The investigation has so far revealed the girl herself did not leave the bicycle behind the dumpster, Constable Michel Letarte said. Rather, it was placed there by a group of teens who found the bike abandoned on the street near where the girl was last seen about 8:30 Tuesday.
About 50 police officers with the Trois Rivieres municipal police, the Surete du Quebec and the RCMP, as well as nearly 200 volunteers are taking part in the search today. A canine unit and helicopter have also assisted in the effort.

Sex Offenders To Wear Monitors!!

Nevada’s most serious sex offenders will soon have to wear an ankle bracelet that monitors their whereabouts at all times.
Gov. Jim Gibbons signed the bill on Tuesday, though it does not take effect until Oct. 1. Officials are touting the measure as a much-needed boost to overburdened law enforcers, who presently consist of only 15 officers who regularly monitor an estimated 750 tier three sex offenders. Under the state’s category system, tier three sex offenders are considered the worst and most likely to reoffend

“It’s impossible for us to monitor our subjects 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” said Lt. Adam Page of the Nevada Department of Public Safety. “This will not tell us what a person is doing 24 hours a day, but it will tell us where they have been 24 hours a day.”
Convicted sex offenders who try to remove the bracelet will be greeted with an obnoxious alarm. Sex offenders can be fitted with the bracelets for a period of several years or even for the rest of their lives, officials said. Under the new law, playgrounds will be officially off-limits for such sex offenders. Tier-three offenders cannot live within 1,000 of a playground, school or community center.
Offenders will be asked to foot the bill for the bracelets, but if they are unable to afford it, taxpayers will bear the expense.

Some Quebec prisoners are set to get an extra gift as of today. La Presse reports a new rule comes into effect today allowing prisoners, even those denied parole, to get out of jail to visit their families. And it seems the Quebec Parole Board is still trying to figure out exactly how to apply the new rule. It has to be immediate family but it isn't clear whether the inmates are accompanied and handcuffed or whether they're completely free. Some victims rights groups say it's ridiculous, arguing that a prisoner too dangerous for parole should be too dangerous to be let out on a family visit.

BEWARE!...SEX OFFENDER

Bégin was sentenced to 11 years in prison after he attacked a 16-year-old girl at a Beauce hotel in 1994. He kidnapped her at knifepoint and locked her in the trunk of his car before he sexually assaulted her, punched her in the face and tried to strangle her.

Notes from Bégin's parole hearing in January 2007 concluded that he showed no remorse for his crime, failed to complete treatment and was a high risk to reoffend.

We are sitting at lunch one day when my daughter casually mentions that her and her husband are thinking of 'starting a family.''We're taking a survey,' she says half-joking... 'Do you think I should have a baby?

''It will change your life," I say, carefully keeping my tone neutral.

"I know,' she says, 'no more sleeping in on weekends, no more spontaneous vacations.'

But that is not what I meant at all. I look at my daughter, trying to decide what to tell her. I want her to know what she will never learn in childbirth classes. I want to tell her that the physical wounds of child bearing will heal, but becoming a mother will leave her with an emotional wound so raw that she will forever be vulnerable?

I consider warning her that she will never again read a newspaper without asking, 'What if that had been MY child?' That every plane crash, every house fire will haunt her. That when she sees pictures of starving children, she will wonder if anything could be worse than watching your child die. I look at her carefully manicured nails and stylish suit and think that no matter how sophisticated she is, becoming a mother will reduce her to the primitive level of a bear protecting her cub. That an urgent call of 'Mom!' will cause her to drop a soufflé or her best crystal without a moment's hesitation.

I feel that I should warn her that no matter how many years she has invested in her career, she will be professionally derailed by motherhood. She might arrange for child-care, but one day she will be going into an important business meeting and she will think of her baby's sweet smell. She will have to use every ounce discipline to keep from running home, just to make sure her baby is all right.

I want my daughter to know that every day decisions will no longer be routine. That a five year old boy's desire to go to the men's room rather than the women's at McDonald's will become a major dilemma. That right there, in the midst of clattering trays and screaming children, issues of independence and gender identity will be weighed against the prospect that a child molester may be lurking in that rest-room. However decisive she may be at the office, she will second-guess herself constantly as a mother.

Looking at my attractive daughter, I want to assure her that eventually she will shed the pounds of pregnancy, but she will never feel the same about herself. That her life, now so important, will be of less value to her once she has a child. That she would give herself up in a moment to save her offspring, but will also begin to hope for more years, not to accomplish her own dreams, but to watch her child accomplish theirs.

I want her to know that a Cesarean scar or shiny stretch marks will become badges of honor. My daughter's relationship with her husband will change, and not in the way she thinks. I wish she could understand how much more you can love a man who is careful to powder the baby or who never hesitates to play with his child. I think she should know that she will fall in love with him again for reasons she would now find very unromantic.

I wish my daughter could sense the bond she will feel with women throughout history who have tried to stop war, prejudice and drunk driving. I want to describe to my daughter the exhilaration of seeing your child learn to ride a bike. I want to capture for her the belly laugh of a baby who is touching the soft fur of a dog or cat for the first time. I want her to taste the joy that is so real it actually hurts.

My daughter's quizzical look makes me realize that tears have formed in my eyes.

'You'll never regret it,' I finally say. Then I reached across the table, squeezed my daughter's hand and offered a silent prayer for her, and for me, and for all the mere mortal women who stumble their way into this most wonderful of callings.

Notorious killer seeks parole

After Sharron died that doll like most of Sharron's belongings stayed in her room untouched.

That doll now sits on my daughter's dresser...my daughter asks often about her auntie Sharron..what she was like? If Sharron was like her..looked like her. What she liked to do? I'm proud to sit with my daughter and laugh and smile and tell her all about Sharron and her smile.

That doll Sharron's friends would remember.

After 20-year sentence attacker still violent, experts say

Serial rapist Paul Douglas Callow will be freed from prison in two weeks. (WONDERFUL!)

And there's not much anyone can do about it.

Callow, who became known as the Balcony Rapist during a serial rape spree in Toronto in the mid-1980s, will have completed a 20-year prison sentence Feb. 25 and will be freed in British Columbia.
It's believed Callow will live in the Vancouver area, where his family lives.
Callow had already sexually attacked two women in the 1970s before he raped five women at knifepoint during the Toronto attacks.
After stalking his victims, Callow climbed onto their second- or third-storey balconies and entered through broken windows or doors.
He then raped his victims for up to 90 minutes.

Callow, who came to Toronto from Vancouver in 1981 and then married and had a little girl, once told a psychiatrist that he was responsible for 26 rapes.
His string of rapes -- in the Wellesely and Sherbourne area -- included the brutalization of a woman who became known as Jane Doe.
Jane Doe launched a $1.2-million lawsuit against Toronto Police in which she alleged they were negligent for not warning women about the Balcony Rapist's attacks.
She was later awarded $220,000 by a judge who agreed she had been used as "bait."
Trial Judge John Kerr noted when he passed sentence that if any of the victims had resisted Callow "we might be sitting here on a charge of murder".
A National Parole Board (NPB) panel agreed with Justice Kerr in 2000 when they ordered Callow to stay in prison for the full 20-year duration of his sentence.
At the most recent NPB review of Callow's detention Jan. 15, it was noted that he was involved in the prison drug subculture.
Drug paraphernalia were found in his possession Dec. 27, the NPB said in parole documents obtained by the Toronto Sun, and he "admitted to getting high on three separate occasions."
Tests show that Callow poses a high risk to reoffend sexually, or with violence.
The NPB noted that Callow had difficulties "controlling inappropriate behaviour" and in one case attempted to rape a nurse who worked at a treatment program.
Steve Sullivan, executive director of the Ottawa-based Resource Centre for the Victims of Crime, said Callow's case "is another example of the problem we have in our system."
"He was too dangerous to release on parole; he was too dangerous to give five statutory release," Sullivan said.
But now that Callow's sentence is complete, the prison doors are swinging open.

Feb 4th ,1975. "My Mother told me that on Sat----I can have all my girl friends over --sort of like a birthday pajama party, she ask me if i wanted a party, but I said no."

(Moms notes) I called her girl friends anyway----she did not know that the boys would be coming over.

"FEB,8th evening we all met at J&A(Mareinas) and came over to my house 9:00 p.m. Brenda, Suzy, Debbie, Mary, Marianne, Donna & Judy. At about 11pm there was a knock at the door and in came the guys, John, Weippert, Wilding, Eddy, Tommy & Robert. I was shocked. Everything turned out good though. The guys left at 3:30 am and us girls only went to sleep at 6:30 am. It was a lot of fun. My Mother brought in my birthday cake & the girls all sang happy birthday to me."

Feb 9th 1975 Sunday. "I'm 16 now (continued from party) My mom got along with everyone. They played and sang Sweet Sixteen & put mine and John's name into it. I was so embarrassed & John was really Embarrassed. I think my Mothers' so good to me".

(Mrs. prior-----Every once in a while I read Sharron's diary, she had her ups & downs like all teenagers do, something's in her diary make me smile -----and other things make me feel sad. When she wrote this in her diary she did not know that this was her last birthday, and she only had 49 more days to live. ...We miss you Sharron.

This document is addressed to the Quebec Premiere, the Quebec Minister of Justice and the Quebec Minister for Public Security from victims of crime, surviving family members of murder victims, and supporters for justice reform in the province of Quebec. The complaints to which this document refers concern the 3 unsolved murders that took place in the Sherbrooke area between 1977 and 1978, and close to 20 documented cases of sexual attacks that also occurred in that region from 1977 through 1982. The complaint is against the Surete du Quebec and their investigations into these events from 2002 until the present.
We the undersigned call upon the Quebec government to take the following actions:
1. Commence a full inquiry into the actions of the Surete du Quebec and their negligence in attempting to solve these crimes, to ensure the public that these errors are never repeated, and may never be suffered by any citizen of Quebec again.
2. Reform the system of communication currently used by the Surete du Quebec. To protect the public interest, ensure citizens that information coming into police is captured and acted upon, and that information provided to victims and families of victims is initiated by police, and provided in a seamless and timely fashion. As well, ensure there is a timely and efficient method of communication employed by all police agencies in Quebec to communicate with each other.
3. Provide the Surete du Quebec with sufficient funding to allow them to dedicate resources to cold-cases; specifically we ask that a cold-case bureau be established in the Surete du Quebec, and we ask the Minister of Public Security to form a task force of special investigators for all unsolved murders in the province of Quebec.
We ask for your assistance in these matters with the greatest respect for the work you perform and the service you provide to the people of Quebec.

CRIME STOPPERS WANTS TO STACK THE DECK AGAINST MURDERES

Florida inmates may want to perfect their poker face.One day, they could be playing cards in prison and come across the faces of their own murder victims.That's the idea behind a series of "cold case" card decks spreading throughout Florida jails and prisons, where investigators hope inmates will see a familiar crime story and squeal on their fellow prisoners.Thousands of the decks have been handed out in jails in Southwest Florida, including in Charlotte County. And more are in the works for jails in Manatee, Miami-Dade and other counties. A statewide deck is set to hit prisons across Florida this spring.Each card in the decks features an unsolved murder or disappearance and shows the victim's picture with a description of the crime."Who knows more about who commits crimes than the criminals?" asked Jack Sullivan, president of the Florida Association of Crime Stoppers.No one expects the cards to spawn a wave of arrests. But they have already helped solve one case.And at about $1.60 per pack, crime fighters figure that alone justifies the cost."If it leads to a resolution in one case, it's completely worth it," said Trish Routte, spokeswoman for Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.Tommy Ray, a special agent for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, proposed Florida's first cold case deck after seeing fugitive cards similar to those used to track down terrorists in Iraq.About two years ago, Ray convinced Crime Stoppers to make a deck of Polk County's unsolved homicides.Within two months, an inmate offered up a tip that led to two men being charged for the 2004 murder of Thomas Wayne Grammar.In the past seven months, tips attributed to cold case cards have provided Polk County investigators with information in at least 10 unsolved homicides, Ray said.Decks used in county jails contain cases from that area. The Southwest Florida deck features about a dozen Charlotte County and North Port cases, including the 2001 murder of Victoria Arena, who flashes an open-mouthed grin from the four of spades.Victoria's mother, Marion Kovacs, 64, said inmates with information might turn someone in because they're forced to look at victims' faces again and again."It's a good idea," Kovacs said.Melanie Bonjour said she had a "bipolar reaction" when she learned that images of her parents, Paul and Rita Stasny, would be plastered to jailhouse game pieces.The Stasnys, ages 71 and 69, were shot to death in their Port Charlotte home in 1991.Bonjour, who collects every news article about her parents' deaths, decided she could not stand to have the cards in her house."It was a hit in the chest because it's your parents' faces on those cards," Bonjour said. "It's not a game. I don't want them remembered like that. But again, I don't want them forgotten either."Unlike regular decks, which they must buy, inmates can use the cold case cards for free. The decks are paid for by fees charged to criminals when they are sentenced.For their part, several Charlotte County jail inmates were skeptical that the cards would keep the victims on inmates' minds."I don't think the guys focus on the crimes," said Keith Willis, an inmate convicted of burglaries. "They just play with the cards."But Ray argues that not every inmate is a hardened criminal.Inmates have told him: "'We're not going to turn someone in for theft or dealing drugs. But murder, that's a different story,'" Ray said.Gregory Daniels, in Charlotte's jail on two robbery charges, said he was moved by at least one card."This is something that breaks my heart -- a little kid," he said as he examined a card showing 4-year-old Pilar Rodriguez. "A lot of people need to be off the streets."

Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu

QUEBEC ACTIVIST NAMED “HERO OF THE YEAR”


Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu’s 27-year-old daughter, Julie, was raped and murdered in Sherbrooke in 2002. In 2005, his youngest daughter Isabelle was killed in a car accident. Rather than let these tragedies destroy him, Boisvenu has used the experience to become a successful advocate for the families of murder victims. As a result of his tireless work, Boisvenu was nominated by 235,000 readers of Sélection magazine, the french version of Reader’s Digest Canada, and was designated “Hero of 2006.”
Boisvenu is responsible for founding L’Association des Familles de Personnes Assassinées ou Disparues (AFPAD), a non-profit organization that advocates for and provides support to families of missing or murdered children. AFPAD has lobbied the Quebec government regarding the treatment of victims, and has successfully brought about changes, such as the increase in aid for victims’ families from $600 to $3,000.
Boisvenu retired in order to devote more time to AFPAD. The Sherbrooke-based association has recently opened an office in Montreal, and continues to operate based on donations and fundraising.
"It’s wonderful news for me and the families involved with the Association," Boisvenu said. Last year he was given the Prix de la Justice du Quebec.
