SARNIA -- Investigators and family members are more optimistic than ever about cracking the unsolved homicide of Karen Caughlin, the 14-year-old Sarnia CI student who was killed 36 years ago Tuesday.

Suspect DNA profile has been developed on evidence from the scene and can identify the person(s) responsible for the murder of Karen CAUGHLIN. Investigators have eliminated a number of persons of interest in this case through DNA comparisons and investigation, including the boys that were with Karen the night she was murdered.
Karen CAUGHLIN's murder remains unsolved.
